Club Training

Ouray  Working Dog Club trains year round two times a week:

Wednesdays and Sundays at 11:00 am

Club members actively help each other achieve each members training goals by spotting, assisting with equipment, and helping to solve training issues.

The club has equipment for Schutzhund, mondioring and AKC obedience and rally.

Members work individually, or simultaneously depending on the needs of each  dog/handler team.

Training can last anywhere from 2 to 4+ hours.  Members are expected to stay for the entire training time, both to help and to learn.

Members are expected to help set up the training field and to help clean it up afterwards.

The strength of the club is in its members. Members are expected to  contribute to the club and be vested in the success of its members.
